I notice the article refers to the Imperial College model and says

it predicted 250,000 deaths in the UK. It predicted 500,000 and then revised down to 20,000. Numbers are flying so fast and so furious from all sides that no one is keeping track of earlier models and predictions in order to correctly measure the accuracy later.
