Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I wish US pro sports were like European soccer
1) I really like the point system. Save playoffs and tournaments for special events or trophies, but make the regular season the only thing that really matters. The 3, 1, 0 point system makes every game important. I often lose interest in the regular season because it seems like there are so many games that are meaningless. Maybe it doesn't work because the NBA and MLB play way more games that soccer teams do, but I feel like something can be done.

2) Relegation should exist in all sports (including NCAA). It would create more interest in lower leagues because it would give teams a chance to work their way up and have success.

I get that all of this is unrealistic because of money and other issues, but in my perfect world, most sports would be like this.
