My coworkers spent a lot of time teasing me for being active LDS and not drinking or partying. After a while though, they decided it was okay.

One day I showed up with my little sister to have lunch. I couldn’t figure out why I kept getting dirty looks from the cocktail waitresses and finally a couple of them came out and ripped me for being out on a date with someone besides my wife. They were full-on incensed. I wondered if it was because they kind of knew my wife, but looking back I think they expected a certain behavior from me and weren’t happy that I was letting them down.
