What MLBPA misses is that pro-rated pay is hardly any pay relief for the owners

They’re still paying players the same amount for each game played, games with significantly less revenue to pay those salaries. I totally understand players not wanting to get screwed, but demanding full pro-rated salaries just isn’t feasible in that market.
