Anyone ever had to sue a partner? Things getting kind of frantic here and could use some advice.
This acquaintance approached me about a COVID business idea in middle March. The concept was to create a gambling platform so that people could bet on games of the past that they hadn’t seen yet (like the 1998 Word Series, Super Bowl XXI, etc.). Since everyone was going to be confined to their homes without live sports I thought it was a winner so I wired $75,000 to his account in the Bahamas.

It’s June and I still haven’t seen any evidence of the website and I’m afraid COVID is pretty much over. He won’t return my calls or emails.

Anyone ever had to file a lawsuit against a partner?
