This doesn’t make any sense by any measure the people in charge care about.
They don’t care about starting on time. In fact it seems like they’d like to permanently switch to a December start time.
Just cancelling the season is also saying, let’s just throw away 100 million dollars...
There’s no weather constraints, no schedule restraints. The NBA has no reason not to play.
