Starting a university from scratch would be expensive but is there a disruptive alternative? Example: a university in Brazil, Africa or Mexico where it’s primarily based on the Pathways program but has some in-person programs like institute, labs/supplemental in-person activities, an entrepreneurial incubator/training plus... a university/franchise ‘football’/soccer team that tries to qualify for the country’s top-tier league. Draw on international membership for recruits/scholarship athletes and leverage BYUtv platform.
Lots of cross-platform exchange programs between the BYU system, that school, EFY-H, Peace Corp-like, shorter-term senior or alt missionary. BYU would never have a med school but what about an international nursing/PA/NP program? International MBA or whatever is practical outside of the US/Europe? There are no ‘universities in Zion’ outside the US.
