We spent the weekend in Bryce Canyon. Crowds were reasonable, weather was great, but the highlight for us was the Dark Rangers Telescope Tour:

My kids range from 5 -10 years old and they loved it. The tour guides were very patient with my kids and did a great job explaining what they were looking at through the telescope and how everything worked. It was a really clear night so we got to see all sorts of clusters, nebulae, Saturn, Neptune and Jupiter. We had to wear masks and gloves the whole time (about three hours) but the kids were so busy running from telescope to telescope that I don't think it really bothered them. I highly recommend these guys and gals and their company.
