So I have this 75 year-old guy with Parkinson's seeing me for a treatment on his hip today. It starts out rough because he can't make it in the main door before the door closes on him and he falls and hurts his elbow and knee. When he gets in the room, I tell him to change into shorts and I will be back. When I come back, he is sitting in the chair, wearing a button-up shirt and nothing else, with his scrotum hanging off the chair, half way to the floor. The shorts I gave him are hanging off the back of his chair. I kindly remind him to put the shorts on and he does. As we start the treatment, he tells me I should probably grab his diaper because he might tinkle. When we finish the treatment, I discover that he didn't get the diaper in the right place and he essentially peed all over himself and the exam table.

I don't really have a point here. I just wanted to share this post. The scrotum thing gave me a chuckle. The rest just made me sad. I don't really want to get old. And I sure hope I helped his hip.
