the original plans for the expansion were to follow what ASU had done and expand to 75-82K. When the drawings and price estimate hit th BOT, they said no...make it smaller. What we have is the scaled down version at about 1/2 the cost of what the bigger stadium would have cost. But because of the huge cost and overruns the ADs office couldn't pay for the stadium so they got bailed out. The result, the ADs office must turn a profit, if not, goodbye.
