Finally Watched the Movie Bumblebee with the kids last night.
Transformers came out at the peak of my childhood in the 1980s. I watched every cartoon and loved it, had the toys, the clothes, lunchpails, trapper Keeper images on it, you name it.

When the 2007 Movie came out I was excited and went in and came out enjoying it. I didn't love it but felt it was good.

Then the 2009 Revenge of the Fallen came out and, well, it SUCKED. I was very disappointed with the movie. But, being a fan knew that they would make another one just because of the $$$ grab.

2011 Dark Side of the Moon came out. They dropped Megan Fox (thankfully) and it was good. Again, not great but I enjoyed the movie and had some excitement about the franchise again.

Then in 2014 Age of Extinction Came out. Mark Wahlberg was a step up, slightly, from Shia, but I did not like the movie and once again was meh...

After that, I gave up on the movies and didn't desire to watch 2017's The Last Knight or 2018's Bumblebee, until last night.

I enjoyed Bumblebee. The acting was better than the others IMO, the storyline was fun taking place in the 1980s added to it for me and the Giant Robot fights were well placed throughout the movie. Also, may have helped that I went into the movie with ZERO expectations. I may watch The Last Knight but for now I kind of like leaving on a positive note from a great part of my childhood that I fondly remember.

Random thoughts on a Thursday...
