That’s not a good argument, because a football team consists of both an offense
and a defense. Sure, don’t let them score. But if they do, the 2nd half of your team should get a chance to match. How can you argue against that being much more fair?
The NFL, as far as I know, is the only sport whose overtime can allow a team’s best player to not even enter the game. It’s nonsense.
