I watched the press session with the TXST coach from this morning
It was hard to watch because they broke up a 10 minute press session into 6 parts on twitter. I'm guessing they don't have a platform where they can deliver a full uninterrupted 10 minute interview. A couple of things that he said:

1. They finished the game with 5 healthy defensive backs. Part of that is due to injury. Another part is due to the fact that they had 2 targeting calls last week. One was in the first half, and one was in the second half. Unless they get someone back and healthy, they'll start the game with 6 total defensive backs on the roster capable of taking the field.

2. In order to combat the defensive liabilities and in an effort to try to contain BYU's "explosive offense," they're going to try to run a more ball control offense this week. This will shorten the game and run large chunks of time off the clock and give BYU's offense fewer series on the field.

My take: if Tuiaki brings a defensive scheme that is focused on stopping the run game, there will be a lot of back and forth 3 play series. TXST will have a lot of 3 and out series followed by 3 play scoring drives by BYU.
