POLL: Would you spend 25 years in prison for $10 million?
Here are some additional assumptions:
1) You enter prison at 18, so you'd leave at 43
2) There's no physical or verbal abuse that takes place during your prison stay - it mostly consists of reading and exercising and eating prison food
3) The prison is in a place with decent weather and facilities, so you're not sweating or freezing constantly
4) You are single when you enter, and within 1 year of exiting prison, you get married and have kids if desired.

I was just reading about this guy James Kluppelberg. From a "what happened to him" / justice system perspective, it totally sucks. But most people by age 47 have not made $9.3 Million in lifetime earnings, especially with his education level. So at least the rest of his life can be spent in peace and he can retire with plenty of money in the bank. https://www.law.umich.edu/special/exoneration/Pages/casedetail.aspx?caseid=3908
