I can totally understand his viewpoint. If BYU was on the cusp of NY6 invite
I would be very cautious about scheduling any game that could ruin it. Odds are BYU won't be back in this situation for a long time. This year is such a unique situation.

I don't see a P5 wanting a game with BYU late in the season.
Plus why would BYU add a game that could wreck the NY6 pursuit?
