1. Flemming just was kinda off on stuff throughout the night. Like multiple times a player clearly did not make the catch, but Flemming would call the catch and kinda go through an awkward “my bad” reversal. We’re watching the same stuff and yet he was just a little slow on seeing what actually took place on the field.

2. Gilmore is the butt of our jokes right now, I get. It’s pretty well deserved. But that dude needs to be evaluated by someone....whoever it is that evaluates commentary at ESPN. Gilmore’s disdain for BYU’s success on the field couldn’t be much more obvious than last night. Anytime there was anything remotely close he would try and make a weak sauce explanation of why it shouldn’t be called in BYU’s favor. He might as well just come right out and say it at the beginning of the game “Hey, Dave, great to be with you tonight. What a beautiful backdrop blah blah blah...I tell ya what, a lot of people like this BYU team but I don’t and I’m going to do my best to show you why tonight here on ESPN”. Good grief .
