are a good reminder of why "MY source says... is not something to have a lot of trust in. People insisting that they source is telling them that we thought we were close to a UW deal today, other people responding to them and claiming that their source told them that it was SDSU. Someone else claims their source tells them that we are pursuing a December 5th game with Cincy right now, someone responds to them saying their source said Cincy is completely off the table. We really do need to be better about basing so much of the discussion on the board and establishing the prevailing narratives on "my source says" type statements that lack any further verifying specifics. Those are the same types of things that caused the ongoing UW smear campaign against us to get some traction.
