Rando P12 dudes on twitter alleged that Holmoe cancelled the game because he "wanted to see our rankings" and that we
are "hard to work with".
There really is no evidence to back it up, nor a contract draft that we can read. But people are eating it up, even some national media guys. Rumor is, because of timing, it's partially why we are #12 in the rankings.
The only facts are this:
BYU was called back on Monday Thanksgiving week to prepare for an opponent. That deal fell through.
The rest is rumor and propaganda.
