I don't think there will be a return to the theater model. Not as the primary distribution platform at least.

Just like the Amazon model (and others) isn't a fad with internet retail, I don't think the streaming model is either.

There is a reason malls are a dying breed, I think theaters are in that mix.

Streaming is interesting though, how messy it is amongst so many services. I think bundling is possible. Not sure what that will look like. Still the wild west with all that, we'll have to see where it shakes out.
