This actually happened with my older brother and my mom. She used it as a
teaching moment. She took my brother right up to him and explained that my brother hadn’t seen a black person before and she wanted to teach her son that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.
The guy was really nice about it and it was a good moment. I don’t know how well it’d be received today, though.
