you can just product change to a no annual fee card, saves you the $$ of the
annual fee although you won’t get the new cardholder offers for whatever you change to. Chase Freedom or Chase Freedom Unlimited are good simple no annual fee cards. Maybe Freedom Flex too, it’s newer but I haven’t looked it it.
