You need guys that can be versatile in the playoffs
Love is not capable of versatility and frankly would have a very limited role in the playoffs. If the Jazz want a chance to compete for a title - they need another wing to compete with the big and small lineups that the Lakers put on the court.
The Lakers would play Love off the court in the playoffs.
