Crazy for the Niners to do this. In 1989, the Cowboys sent Hershel Walker to the Vikings for 3 #1s and more.
It took Minnesota a decade to recover from that deal. Hershel not only did not work out, but the loss of 3 years of #1 picks plus other selections, players given up, etc., absolutely killed Minnesota.
