I don't understand how it's "valid" to hate the other team
I'm a fan of BYU and not a fan of Utah, but I certainly don't hate Utah. I don't watch them because I'm not a fan of them. I don't see the correlation between being a fan of one team and hating the other team. I think rivalries need more "fun" rivalries and less hateful rivalries.
