I have one major issue with this year's team which I think is why last year was
better at this point. This year's team will run the offense for the first 10 seconds (or less) and then it becomes street ball. At some point someone decides it's up to them to make a play and they try to dribble, a lot and then they turnover the ball. They don't continue to run the play. Next time you watch the game follow the offensive set and when they finally take a shot ask yourself, was that a practice offensive play? I think you will be questioning a whole lot of shots-especially the ones coming off of major dribbling exhibitions. That is the thing I find most exacerbating about this team from last year. TJ and company almost never stopped running the offense. They had patience and kept running it until they finally were able to take advantage of a defensive lapse from the other team. If these guys will learn to keep running the offense, they would be able to get AB open for 3 several more times a game. The thing that bothers me second most is the shooting. It seems to me that players this year don't trust their shot near a much as the players from last year. They pass up wide open threes to make that "extra" pass and by the time someone thinks to put up a shot the D has recovered and then a dribbling exhibition begins by one of our players. I think these are the two weaknesses in this team. I can't explain why these guys stop running the O so quickly and I don't get why they have so much lack of confidence in their shot. AB was lights out and suddenly he won't shoot the ball beyond the arc. And not in any volume until this last game. We have a lot of lights out shooters from 3 but they rarely take the shot when open enough for a "good look", especially AB. He is one of not the best 3 point shooter in CBK but lost the mojo for a while. I hope he has it back from now on.

AB - you can make every shot you take, you may not but you can. But you miss 100% of the open looks you don't take.
