Why come to BYU in the first place? Was a grad transfer--coulda left a year ago.
A year ago his big reason for coming to BYU was to further develop his game in ways he wasn't getting at Perdue — in preparation for a pro career.
While he did state at the time he would only stay a single year, that's of course subject to change depending on the circumstances & how ready he feels for the European pro game (or NBA). If he didn't feel ready a year ago, I could still see him wishing his game & conditioning were more ready for the jump.
