There are definitely arguments for BYU to be higher--but if the committee values
Q1 wins the most--then Mizzou would need to be seeded higher than BYU and that doesn't have anything to do with a bias toward BYU. It's due to objective criteria.
Wins over teams in the tournament have always been a big deal to the committee. BYU has a stellar resume everywhere else, but only 1 win over a tourney team is where they are the weakest.
