I’m most interested, though, in visiting DC and all of the museums. We are planning a trip out east sometime in the year or so.

Agree. The parks offer a different experience without children.

No. I didn't go as a kid either. I don't plan to go as an adult. I'd rather pay thousands for a different destination.
