...seed to avoid the 8/9 winner having to play a #1 seed but then you look at potential 7/10 matchups and we could be playing underperforming teams like North Carolina in the first round. So then you think, "ok, if we can only get to a 6th seed then..." but a potential 6/11 matchup could be with Michigan St. There likely is no safe landing spot in the NCAA tourney for us. We're going to have to beat good teams to move on.
