I favor the ancient Greeks, few medieval and early modern philosophers
Aristotle, Plato/Socrates, Aquinas, Descartes, Hume, Kant, Locke, Sartre (more than 5, I know)
Unfortunately, and this is completely subjective, Emerson is dragged down by my dislike of Thoreau
