All our experiences are pre-covid but . .
The Ashley Inn is awesome, and I believe they do big group rates as well. Best Hotel staff I've ever encountered.
For the teenagers and young at hearts, we would stay up late playing cards and games in the big dining room.
Every night the hotel provides warm cookies and milk at the front desk.
One year the local movie theater was shut down, so the hotel let us use their formal room and play a movie in there.
Small swimming pool/hot tub, but still fun.
It's right next to a church, and on the other side of the church is a big RV lot, then the river. Hotel guests can rent kayaks/canoes for free I believe.
Cascade Lake is massive, and very green. My in-laws arent' boaters, but it looks like a way fun lake to powerboat or fish on.
South of Cascade they have a couple different river rafting tours
