Confession time: Have any of you ever been a regular caller on a sports show?
I mean the kind where the host says something akin to, "Hey, Mark in Cleveland" as if they're old buds, and the caller proceeds to talk to the host like he's heard everything the host ever said.
I have two thoughts when I hear these callers. First, who has the time to listen to that much sports talk? And second, who is outspoken and motivated enough to call in to the show?
