When I was there it was 8 weeks off after 7 years of service. You get about 3

Weeks of vacation until you hit the 10 year mark... so I often saw coworkers take 11 weeks (or 12 if this was their second sabbatical). Indians going back to India for an extended stay; guys buying a Harley and tooling around the country all summer...

For me, I killed myself trying to get a bunch of work done before leaving.... then spending crazy hours trying to catch up after returning. It felt like I ended up doing the same amount of work - just compressed into the months leading up and directly after returning.

I ended up leaving at the 10 year mark, so I only did it once.
