into a tough situation at BYU when he was appointed interim coach for one season after Roger Reid's sudden firing. After he left BYU he had great success as a head coach, winning a Division 2 National Championship with Kennesaw State and another National Championship with Dalton State.
He was a great program builder and, more importantly, was a great builder of young men. The players he coached appreciated the personal interest he took in their lives.
The world needs more people like Tony Ingle.
RIP coach.
