and I had the SUPER COOL new gadget that was a cassette tape looking thing with a long cord that plugged into the earphone jack and then the sound came out through the van speakers!!!

MAN, I was like Dad of the YEAR!!!

Then we met up with "Uncle Paul" (who is a lurker here on Cougar Board!!)....

AND he had a full TV and VCR/DVD setup in their their van, with a DC-AC converter and hard wired into the van sound system and a whole library of movies ....

And my kids said "we want to ride with them Dad ....."

so I wasn't even the coolest dad in the family!!!
