Yes. You have to move every 16 days and 5 miles from your current camp spot
in National Forests and 25 miles away on BLM land (14 day maximum stay).
It’s referred to as dispersed camping or Boondocking if in an RV/Van. You generally must be self sustainable and have your own water and bathroom. Each agency and state has their own regulations that must be followed.
