Funny story about Tootsie Rolls. When I was 8 years old I ate a bunch of Tootsie Rolls and got super sick. I vowed I
would never eat a Tootsie Roll again.
I kept that promise until I was 29 years old. I was touring the Tootsie Roll factory with the President and CEO (a married couple in their late 70s and 80s). The husband went over to the production line, got a fresh Tootsie Roll, and offered it to me.
That is the only Tootsie Roll I have eaten in the last 30 years.
