In my experience it depends on your lender. Some will want pay stubs, others
a signed contract.

I think generally speaking if you have experience in the industry (even with a different employer), a contract or other employment agreement, and aren’t self employed you shouldn’t have a hard time finding a lender who will overlook the lack of pay stubs from the company hiring you.

Mulletino is a good guy to ask this question to, and he is also a great guy to get the mortgage itself from provided he’s registered in the state you’re moving to and can get you approved.
