The guy even had bear spray on him but they are unsure if he was able to deploy it. They tell you to play dead if attacked by a grizzly. I don't think I'd even have to pretend. I think I'd probably have a heart attack on the spot.

A buddy told me years ago he and his friend where fishing in Alaska when they were charged by a grizzly. Fortunately for them it was far away and was crossing a river so it was slowed down a bit. They ran like crazy and climbed a tree and it stopped chasing them. He said he completely crapped his pants and hadn't even realized it. I would have done the same.
