I'd like to think his fate in that regard is what causes BYU fans to forget him
But BYU fans didn't care for him when he was throwing for 400 or even 500 yards every week. I'd have loved to see a senior year from him in 1995. That would have led to a different 1996, but Walsh is one of the all time great BYU QBs and I hated to see him leave early.
