old gets a text at church that the mother of one of his football teammates passed away during a surgery this morning. Obviously, it was a little bit of a surprise.

Since then, I have been thinking of my mom and her age. Her health has been declining the past few years and I wonder how I am going to feel taking that call.

Maybe we will spend a little extra time at her house tonight.
