Computerization of Cars. Today I went to check my engine oil on a new-ish car,

and to my amazement there was no dipstick that I could find. After reading through the owners manual again, I found that you have to check the oil level using the cars onboard computer, with the digital dash display. There is literally no dipstick. I couldn't believe it.
