In attendance was “cinema and tv series expert” guy. The guy legitimately knows his stuff — there wasn’t a movie or tv series mentioned that he didn’t break down and provide a Siskel & Ebert like recap for.
The dude went above and beyond and was gracious enough to ask us if we had ever seen approximately 35 different movies and TV series (yes, we were on the subject for over two hours with this group). Of the roughly 35, I had only seen five. So the good news is, I won’t even need to see the other 30 now — he told us about all of them. The plot, the key scenes, how amazing the endings were etc…
We went expecting great food but didn’t expect to leave essentially having seen 30 films that we would normally have had to waste a whole bunch of time actually watching — and who wants to do that? Seems like such a drag.
Oh and I’ve been wanting to catch Game of Thrones, Longmire, Dexter for a while now. Nice thing is— I won’t have to now!!!
