If the 12 team playoff was approved

And the AAC extended an offer to BYU, along with Boise and maybe SDSU or Fresno, what would BYU do as far as cancelling/rescheduling games? To reschedule would mean we would have games scheduled possibly 20-30 years out haha. For BYU to cancel those games would cost an outlandish amount. What would the best move be in this situation?
