Stockton & Malone took the Lakers to 7 games in the Western Conference semi's in 1988 and I felt as a young Jazz fan that they always had a shot at the national stage from 1992 to at least 2000.

I have some hope for the Jazz this year for the first time since Stockton & Malone retired. One good season doesn't come anywhere close to surpassing the legacy of Stockton & Malone.
