2 of our children have birthdays 5 days apart in June, and we typically celebrate family birthdays on the Sunday after the birthday. Because of how it worked out, we celebrated my son's last Sunday, and now this weekend will be my daughter's. We're pushing the Father's Day celebration off to the week after that.

So, this Sunday, at my daughter's request, I will be making Pad Thai, Panang curry, and chicken satay with peanut sauce. I haven't figured out yet what I want for Father's Day, but whatever it is, I'll be cooking it. My wife will make the dessert, though.
