Orr wouldn't even belong on the top 10 of that list. But as far as the best to ever do it, he was head and shoulders above EVERYONE else of his era. I'm not from that era by any means, grew up in Pittsburgh watching Super Mario as a kid.
Orr is #11 all-time for defensemen in points and he basically was done at age 26. Given a full career, he likely ends up at #2 all-time in points, behind only Gretzky.
In only 657 career games, Orr was +574, which is good for second all-time. That is absolutely insane.
