Huh? Even Mark Emmert has said that the NCAA is losing control of FB.
The antitrust lawsuits against the NCAA have only just begun. Power and control are shifting to individual leagues. Look for eligibility rules to be challenged next, and for leagues to set their own rules (like the number of credits needed to stay eligible.)



"The Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics, for one, has been promoting a plan to revamp Division I and pull major college football out of the NCAA's purview altogether.

Emmert has spoken out against that specific idea, but his comments suggest change is certainly on the table."
