football club. The reason and only reason they don't get invited is because it is an LDS institution. It doesn't matter if we are better in football, better academically or if our research is tops. If the cool kids club cant control what BYU believes or says then we just don't pass the prerequisites of p5 football. Honor code might dissuade some or even many athletes from choosing BYU but has zero to do with an invite to the club.
