completely, 100% fawning media and fairly effective rollout of the vaccines...Biden is barely at 50% approval. 49% in today's Rasmussen poll. That's ugly for a Dem president. When you include the large voter bases in deep blue states, he should be 52%+.
The problem is most people believe the econ recovery and vaccines are as much Trump as they are Biden. But gas prices, immigration, inflation, cancel culture frustration and crime concerns are turning more people away.
That's with the media largely ignoring those issues.
You can see by how defensive and angry Biden gets with certain questions that he's worried about the midterms and internal polling.
I think where Biden has failed the most is selling people on his ideas. He made the mistake of taking the far left approach of demonizing, attacking and distorting the right's positions. By doing so, he's essentially lying about what he's trying to do.
Even thought he media has been all in, he's lost or is losing a few key battles from ending the filibuster, CRT/1619 passing the voting rights and pushing his $6T stimulus.
Sure, everyone will support the last COVID stimulus. Just as they did for Trump. But Biden hasn't really done that unique that has helped...yet.
